yes they do take into consideration ...............but he has failed in 2 sem so many companies count the degree from 4 th sem

My friend has failed in two subjects of first semester. He is now in second semester.

If he clears these subjects in the next semester and do well from then onwards, can he graduate with distinction? ie will his final certificate of graduation say FCD?

Also, do most companies mind if he has retaken 2 exams from first semester if his other marks are good?
